WJOY PROGRAMS

The Breakfast Table starts weekday mornings from 6am to 10am with Ginny McGehee.  There is a full line-up of news, weather and sports along with good music and on-air chats with listeners and sponsors.  Every morning we play a variety of games and amass numbers for a lottery ticket.  The contests are “That’s News to Me Monday,” “Trivial Trials Tuesday,” "Spin-Out Wednesday,” “Password Thursday” and “Definition Friday.”  Get your day underway with a positive attitude at The Breakfast Table.
 
WPTZ-Channel 5 News airs Monday through Friday from 6pm to 6:30pm.  If you can’t watch the TV news, catch what is happening in our area on WJOY.

The Big Band Show is Saturday morning from 7am to 10am.  The show features the original Big Bands from the 1930s, 1940s and the early 1950s.

Sounds of Sinatra with Sid Mark spotlights the songs and long career of Frank Sinatra on Sunday morning from 9am to 11am.

Public Affairs programming with “In Touch,” “North Country Commerce,” “Health Source” and “Aging Matters” airs from 8am to 9am Sunday morning.  These shows highlight the great efforts of non-profit organizations throughout Vermont and Northern New York.

In The Garden with senior horticulturist Charlie Nardozzi runs from March into November.  Get great gardening tips and ask the expert your questions live on Thursday morning from 9am to 10am.  And listeners can get the helpful information again with a replay Saturday morning from 10am to 11am.
 
Pet of the Week with Claire from the Humane Society of Chittenden County is featured on Thursday mornings at 8:40am.
