Girls Nite Out Productions presents The Prima Donnettes!
October 2-5 & 8-12 at the Black Box Theatre, downtown Burlington
Beginning in the 50’s, female singing groups such as The Shirelles and The Dixie Cups began to break onto the popular airwaves. By the 60’s and 70’s female solo artists such as Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Carole King and Diana Ross had brought women to the forefront of the American stage. From the era of hula hoops and drive-ins to the fight for equal rights, these women provided the soundtrack for the hopes and dreams of women everywhere. This show is a musical revue with dialogue that connects the songs and the eras. Think Dusty Springfield meets Tina Turner! Tickets are on sale now through the Flynn Theatre Box Office, 153 Main Street, Burlington, call 86-FLYNN or order online
